Custom masonry support for contemporary architecture
For Residence Droeshout in Berlare, a contemporary architectural design was chosen featuring Eco-brick facing bricks with a thickness of only 6.6 cm. The combination of the slender facing brick and the various façade details required a precise and carefully engineered solution for supporting the masonry.
For this project, ATKO supplied a combination of custom LFX lintels and MFX masonry supports. The masonry supports were intentionally designed to remain visible and were finished with a durable powder coating in RAL 1013 – Oyster White, allowing them to blend harmoniously with the light-coloured brickwork and the overall architectural design.
Thanks to the excellent preparation and close cooperation with the contractor, the various connections and custom solutions could be developed quickly and efficiently. This enabled ATKO to provide a solution that is both technically sound and aesthetically integrated, fully tailored to the specific architecture of the building.
