The Bastion Hotel Groningen is being transformed from an existing, functional hotel into a larger and more modern facility. By positioning the new accommodation wing above the parking area, the available space is used to its full potential. The extension remains connected to the existing tower, with additional attention given to comfort and the guest experience.

For this project, Atko supplied masonry support angles and steel lintels, bundled per two floors and provided with clearly labelled component lists and pre-installed cavity closures. Thanks to the Atko stacking racks, deliveries occupied minimal space on the construction site. The bundle lists attached to the racks corresponded directly with the façade elevations in the Atko installation documentation.

Through careful preparation and close collaboration with the contractor, the materials could be delivered in an organised manner, ready for immediate installation. This approach allows Atko to contribute to an efficient and smooth construction process.
